When I’m not making maps, I can be found playing music. I spent nearly 4 years on the road with Chicago-based bluegrass band the Henhouse Prowlers, touring extensively across the U.S. and Europe. The band was selected twice by the U.S. Sate Department to participate in the American Music Abroad program, giving me the opportunity to perform and collaborate with local musicians in countries such as Russia, Mauritania, Zambia, Nigeria, and Uganda.
Other featured performances include the Old-Town School of Folk Music, the International Bluegrass Music Association, and Summer Camp music festival.
Today, I reside in the Bay Area, playing bluegrass and acoustic music. My musical interests include a range of styles, spanning bluegrass, old-time, celtic, and swing/jazz.
Below is some of the music I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of over the years. Check it out!
