This report utilizes an API to query an overdose case in a REDCap database and display any data with a date or estimated date. The script processes the data, coverts it to a visual timeline, and displays PDMP, EMS and hospital discharge data in tabular form.
In the timeline, events are grouped into the following categories: Criminal Justice (recent arrests, incarcerations, pre-arrest or pre-charge diversions, specialty courts, and community supervision), Drug Use and Overdoses (fatal and non-fatal Overdoses), Treatment (mental health and substance use treatment), Healthcare/EMS (inpatient, emergency room, primary care, pain treatment, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) encounters), and Other Events (date last alive). Prescription drugs are grouped into the following categories: Opioids, Benzodiazepines, Stimulants, Nerve Pain/Anti-Convulsants, Sedatives, and Medication-Assisted-Treatment drugs.
