Through my work with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), I work alot with opioid and other drug-related data. Throughout 2021-2024, I was tasked with helping the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) develop public-facing overdose dashboards for Milwaukee County. The goal of these dashboards was to provide as close to real-time data as possible and illuminate trends in fatal and non-fatal overdoses in Milwaukee County.

Working in close partnership with staff from MCW, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, and the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management, we developed a public-facing dashboard that became the go-to source for overdose data in Milwaukee County. Working in close collaboration with different agencies and stakeholders to succesfully deliver this dashboard to the public was an incredibly gratifying experience.
